Our President, Anthony Lombardo, teaches university courses in social research methods and mobilizing evidence for practice and policy change.

We have expertise in planning, implementing, administering and reporting evaluations for projects, particularly those in the field of health promotion. Our President, Anthony Lombardo, teaches university and continuing education courses in program evaluation.

Grant Development & Writing

We have expertise in conceptualizing, preparing, writing and submitting grants for research, project and organizational funding. We have prepared grants for provincial funders as well as national funders, including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and Health Canada.

Our current and past clients include national and provincial non-profit and charitable organizations and university-based researchers and educators in the social and health sciences.

Meet the Team

The Lombardo Group is led by Anthony Lombardo, PhD. Anthony works with a small and dedicated group of associates to deliver timely, personalized and professional services to a variety of associations and individual stakeholders.Anthony holds a doctorate in community health from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at University of Toronto. In addition to his work with The Lombardo Group, he also has an active role as a university educator where he teaches undergraduate and continuing education courses in health promotion, program evaluation, research methods and knowledge mobilization. Anthony has specific training in teaching adult learners and remote teaching.

Anthony and his team have been managing non-profit and charitable organizations in Canada since 2005. The team is well versed in all aspects of managing associations, from day-to-day operations through financial management, strategic planning and project management. Anthony holds a doctorate (PhD) in community health from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at University of Toronto and Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in sociology from McMaster University.
